'A Space Family Odyssey', is loosely based on the 1960’s TV show 'Lost in Space', taking place 100 years in the future. The Graving family is chosen from thousands of aplicant families for this mission, of traveling to Alpha Centauri, our closest neighbor, at greater than light speeds. After intensive training of 6-8 months, they are ready for space travel, and an adventure they are really not prepared for.T their spaceship,'The Valkrye', is equipped to travel at somewhere around 100 times the speed of light . As they exit our solar system and engage the hyperdrive, multiple emergencies befall them as they spin out of control at light speeds and encounter the wrong planet with many new obstacles to survive. It is a story of how resourceful this family can be in exploring and making a new home on Earth. Time travel and finding possible human predecessors are a few of the surprises awaiting them. It’s like being on Earth 100 million years ago. And the force is definitely with them.
