The author, Barbara Carole Williams was born in New Orleans, LA to Robert and Elise Poole who had six children, with Barbara as first born. Her family relocated to San Francisco, California, at an early age. Her mother introduced her to books which became an important pastime in her life.Married to the love of her life Alonzo Williams, they have two sons, Michael and Omari. She hopes to have expressed the value of friendships and intimate relationships, that love is color blind.
