At the Plum Blossom Inn, every guest gets a warm welcome. Vanishing before checkout is another matter entirely.A birthday getaway at the Plum Blossom Inn should come with good food, comfortable beds, and a little Colorado hospitality. It definitely shouldn’t come with a missing guest. When three lifelong friends return to Cañon City to celebrate their pal’s sixtieth birthday, innkeeper June Payne expects a lively weekend of old stories and fond memories. But one of them is carrying a secret he’s kept for nearly forty years. And before he can finally tell the truth, he vanishes in the middle of the night. With an angry former student making threats, old friends giving answers that don’t quite match, and a long-ago disappearance suddenly taking on new importance, June can’t resist asking questions. With help from her sharp-eyed friends, Stephanie and Derrick, and one very opinionated cat, she begins pulling at a thread someone desperately wants left alone.Because at the Plum Blossom Inn, some guests bring luggage.Others bring secrets.
