A Raping Coronation is a visionary prose-poem written between April and August 1999.Moving through political disillusionment, spiritual crisis, cultural collapse and psychic transformation, the work refuses easy certainties and conventional resolutions.Part philosophical inquiry, part fever dream and part satirical apocalypse, it charts the progress of a consciousness unwilling to settle for partial truths.Written at the close of the twentieth century and published for the first time twenty-seven years later, A Raping Coronation documents a prolonged search through the dead ends of modernity in pursuit of a more authentic mode of being.
