A Pen Carries The Weight Like a Feather

What is the foundation and meaning towards poems? Writing on a personal level, a journey through life experiences written with honesty. Each poem becomes a short story. I wrote my very first poem when I was a senior in high school in 1994. In April of 2023, my journey started with 6 poems. Relentlessly, I begin my quest writing like a ghost-writer isolated in the dark. With a keen eye for detail, we try to become a perfectionist in our own words.Writing anonymously without any interruptions. Maybe it’s a calling to document one story at a time. Typing away a rough draft can be therapeutic for some. Through creative writings, we become lost in our own words between empty spaces.I have finely reached #1,800 poems on July 24th of 2026. A letter to the world written upon poetry. Sometimes you feel consumed to meet high expectations to reach unreachable milestones. To have your own work published and polished through zeal.Writing with imperfections along the way through lenses of an unknown Author submerged. Writing hours upon hours could be a full time job with a 2nd cup of coffee brewed. Encouraging letters with potential and with stanza documented in ink with character. You don’t need anyone’s validation. Write freely in silent whispers unspoken. For a pen carries the weight like a feather. As empty pages are written discreetly that echoes. Just type away until you run out of words. As poets are misunderstood, we have truly found our calling anonymously.Sometimes poems can hide our darkest secrets. Never stop writing until the ink runs dry.
