In addition, many high-frequency vocabulary and grammatical structures are encountered across all the units.The content has been written to take account of the DfE’s requirement that GCSE students become familiar with aspects of the contexts and cultures in which French is spoken. The comprehension texts were written by the authors, often drawing on authentic sources.Thematic, vocabulary and grammar content has been matched against the new specifications and should be suitable for any of the three awarding bodies: AQA, Eduqas and Pearson-Edexcel
