She is a 1984 graduate of Osceola High School in Osceola, Arkansas and 1989 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas. She is the daughter of Lula R. Jones and the late Howard Jones, both of Osceola. Currently, she is the high school band director at McClellan High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Outside of teaching music, her favorite hobby is creative writing. She enjoys writing poetry, short stories, and Bible studies to encourage others in their Christian walk.'A Leaf in the Wind' will be the first published book to her credit.By sharing her personal experiences, Lillian’s life’s mission is to offer hope to all individuals by encouraging them to believe that they too can survive any life storm and ultimately reach their destiny.
