Zahra, née Ahmed, se débat avec les tensions entre son identité biologique et celle imposée par la société. Enfin, Amina, ayant fui un mariage forcé, surmonte une perte de mémoire et se retrouve grâce à une émouvante retrouvaille avec sa mère. Chaque récit est un témoignage puissant de transformation.
