Maya, a sixteen-year-old girl from Burrentia, and her friend Kalieb, a chef, discover a mysterious cookbook in their attic. They create a unique chili recipe, Dragon’s Breath Chili, using a blend of spices from their travels. They create a popular dish, but their rival chef, Levi, attempts to steal the cookbook. They run away from Levi and his minions, eventually finding an enchanted restaurant called Enchant Hazelhollow. They gather ingredients for a Goldhorn Cobbler using Pusheachaut, magic nuts that change color and taste depending on the eater’s mood. They create a defense mechanism using whipped cream and quick-setting jelly, defeating Levi with a giant exploding Carroteer. Levi promises to improve his own bland cuisine. Maya and Kalieb remember this milestone as culinary legends, using it as a reminder that even ordinary ingredients can lead to extraordinary results with imagination and encouragement.
