Some people think that living in a quiet peaceful village in the Western Highlands of Scotland can be a dull and inauspicious life. The story below contradicts most of those presumptions. Life there may start off quietly and peacefully, but if you immerse yourself into the local community you may find that living there is more adventurous and satisfying than anything you might ever find living further south. In this tale a man starts life there teaching at a local junior school and marries his Scottish dream sweetheart, who runs her own business. His business life abounds, then he meets a successful writer of totally different outlooks and opinions, who takes him mentally down a completely different route and journey, whilst his wife finds herself a sidekick lover in her own working establishment. To see how this all works out you’ll have to read the story.
