Being a Manager is a job however being a Leader is a lifelong reward. One of the best compliments that I have received, was from one of the trainees in which I was so fortune to train. The trainee had communicated to another leader that she had loved training with me and that she had learned a lot. When asked what she had learned, she said, 'You learn all the things that you didn’t know you needed to learn.' When asked to explain, she said, ’it’s something that you just can’t explain.’ In receiving this feedback, I immediately knew that the training that she received was successful. She was opened to gaining the knowledge through listening, processing the learning and applying it. She chose to expand her book of knowledge by being open-minded.
