A HAPPY COLOR is a story about a lonely elderly man and a young school boy who both seem to have lost their direction in life. The 'generation gap' seems not to make any difference in their friendship. Color plays an important part in this story as they discover through kindness and curiosity how life can perhaps become enjoyable and meaningful once again.I have always loved writing and learning about words. At age five I wrote my very first poem and continued to write throughout my lifetime. As a professional nurse for many years, I worked in various fields of Nursing and wrote articles for Nursing Journals. In addition, I enjoyed writing both prose and poetry. Now presently retired, I continue to spend much of my time writing as well as learning about archeology and genealogy.

Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present.
