Floyd Flamingo decides to stunt fly during a fierce storm against the advice of his father. Along the way, they meet Oliver Owl, Percival Penguin, Tyler Turtle, Merri Manatee, and Dolly Dolphin.While resting on a small island in the middle of a lake, a pair of hungry alligators, Chomp and Chew, decide to have Floyd and Fiddles for breakfast. Even Zack the shark tries to gobble up Floyd when he falls helplessly into the ocean.When Floyd finally does arrive home, he is excited and thrilled, and his eyes fill with tears of joy. But he is quickly shunned by everyone. His friends, schoolmates, and even his own parents turn their backs on him--all because of his green color.What will become of Floyd, the first green flamingo?
