A child is dead, killed by a terrorist bomb intended for another victim. The three perpetrators are scattered across Europe and Russia: Anna is in prison, Boris is in exile, and Rosa is hiding from the police. Now, though, a new threat emerges. Someone who knows what they did thinks that justice has not been served and seeks to take vengeance for the child. The three must reunite to meet this danger and finally face their own guilt. As the Tsar brutally crushes the 1905 revolution, Anna, Boris and Rosa must each make a journey of a thousand miles to find each other, and themselves, again.
