Roy Callahan is an old retired cowboy and construction man. He is driving through the West seeking a place where he would like to settle down. He has always liked the western cowboy life and would like to relive that life again.A man makes an emergency landing near his camp, and Roy saves the pilot by flying him to a hospital. This starts a chain of events that includes a large ranching operation, the invention of a super weapon, and a final showdown with terrorists.Along the way Roy makes a new friend, encounters Indians on their reservation, renews old-time friendships, and proves there is life and action left in an old cowboy.
