Amados, na Sua volta para ser glorificado em Seus santos, ainda será na cruz, ainda será na base da cruz. Mas este é o ponto – só podemos compartilhar a glória se tivermos compartilhado a cruz. A cruz está ali, e só podemos compartilhar a glória se O conhecermos no poder de Sua ressurreição. Só podemos conhecer a glória se já tivermos sido feitos, por Ele, assentados com Ele nas regiões celestiais. Essas três coisas: união com o Senhor crucificado; união com o Senhor ressuscitado; união com o Senhor ascendido, são a união com um Senhor glorificado. E se houver qualquer irrupção da glória de Deus em nós, individualmente, deve ser, primeiramente, quando a cruz fizer sua obra; depois, quando Ele for o Soberano, e não apenas o Mediador; e, então, quando sairmos para cumprir Seu ministério apostólico, como homens “enviados” – somente assim o Espírito de Glória poderá repousar sobre nós.
