Welcome to Christina’s first Artwork Coloring Book!Within these pages you will find line drawings based on watercolor and oil-on-paper paintings by Christina Allen. When I start a painting, I usually begin with a finished line drawing in pencil. These drawings are for my use as a painter. I define edges of objects and edges of colors. I love beautiful lines. Even if nature doesn’t provide beautiful lines, as an artist I create them. After my painting is completed, I re-engineer each painting as a line drawing created specifically for you, the colorist, to color in. I drew lines around shapes of objects and fields of color and tried to connect them into shapes as much as possible. I then go back again with a bolder pen to enhance the actual objects more so that you can see them as shapes. I’m always drawing lines, even if it’s just in my mind. You can use your own entirely different colors. I’m sure it will look smashing and exciting! Have fun!On my website you can find many of the finished paintings of the drawings you like from this book with the SKU numbers (ALLNxxxx) or in my children’s books via the QRCode link. Please feel free to send photos of your favorite completed works to me! I will post a page on my website www.CornCribStudio.com called 'great coloring pages.'
