She lives and works in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and has been married to her high-school sweetheart for 29 years. The author and her husband have a 23-year-old daughter and a 20-year-old son. She enjoys calligraphy, knitting, making jewelry, traveling, reading, and never turns down an offer to dine out. The first-time author encourages her second graders to use A Bug and a Wish in various school situations. 'In the years I have been teaching, teasing and bullying have increased. I felt that the ’bug and a wish’ concept would make a great children’s book for teachers to use in their classrooms.'
