This is the history of the birth and demise in 1939 of the cotton Industry in Lodz, Poland, and how the Dobranicki family having started from a very modest beginning became part of the local industrial revolution owing a textile mill, a bank, employing and housing a large workforce. various members of the family contributed to the health of the community by founding a school and contributing to the enhancement of the hospital.
