A Book For Little People was written to help children build their self-esteem and confidence. Learning new skills starts from a very young age and the younger the children learn these skills the more self-belief they have, giving them the confidence to keep learning and growing as they go through life. After working within school environments supporting children to develop the skills they need to grow into confident adults I was looking to create a story the children could relate to, I soon realised animals have a magical way of keeping young minds not only entertained but also engaged. These eight friends will take you on a journey of discovery to develop your imagination, your self-belief and your confidence, they will take you through the stages to help you discover the confidence from within, helping you to be great at being you. We are Ari, Lily, Henry, Stanley Dottie, Hazel, Charlie, and Donny, we are all friends and come from different families, we are here to guide you through rhyme and pictures to help you to love yourself, believe in yourself and have the courage to follow your dreams, and help your friends to do the same.
