A factual story of my brothers incredible 4 1/2 yr journey around the world from 1965 to 70, through all the continents & 60+ countries , travelling with little money, no credit cards, no internet. He travelled experiencing different climates, travel modes, famine, cultures, languages, currency, war zones, epidemics, friends & foes!! He faced loneliness, hunger, sickness, exhaustion, danger, love & unpredictable circumstances that most people would find impossible to navigate & survive. If he was alive to expand on his small diaries, a small atlas & photo slides, the story could flesh out to be mind boggling. When he was alive & I queried him, he would expand on some of those experiences and provide details with a humble, educational & humorous talent. Many portions of this story could be used as an intinerary travel guide to retrace routes he took. The world has changed drastically from when he completed his epic journey & completing lots of his routes would be extremely unwise, dangerous & possibly fatal. You will not be disappointed to purchase & enjoy this epic saga.
