When the world ends, it doesn’t go out with a bang-but with a whisper. For seventeen-year-old Kasai, the outbreak begins on an ordinary evening, in a quiet town that turns into a nightmare overnight. The infected are not just sick-they’re predators, relentless and terrifying. And now, with society collapsing, Kasai receives one last text from her mother, a nurse who never makes it home: 'Lock the doors. Don’t let anyone in. I love you.'As the government broadcasts a chilling message-'Help will arrive in 72 hours. Stay alive.'-Kasai flees her home and begins a desperate journey through a world unraveling at the seams. Along the way, she forms a tenuous alliance with three other survivors: the guarded and gruff Kyle, the sharp-eyed and resourceful Elara, and the quiet but brilliant Milo. Trust becomes a scarce commodity as the infected roam the streets-and so do the people willing to do anything to survive.Their path leads them to 'The Core,' a sinister facility at the heart of the outbreak, where horrifying experiments have created monsters worse than the virus itself. The group risks everything to bring it down-but stopping one facility doesn’t mean the threat is over. With scattered clues and broken survivors, Kasai and her new family must push forward, searching for hope, safety, and the courage to rebuild. The first 72 hours were about survival. Now, it’s about fighting back.
