After experiencing a traumatic childhood and the trails and tribulations in foster care, Cindy found her love for writing. It was the one place where she learned she wouldn’t be criticized for her thoughts and that’s when her passion for writing blossomed. She created a judge-free space where she can vent about her experiences without feeling like a victim. 4 AM is around the time most of these poems were written. You’ll find that 4 AM is an illustrated collection that speaks on, but not limit to, abuse, brokenness, relationships, and femininity. While also being inspirational and motivational to help break the barriers we tend to create for ourselves.
