The first full translation of the brand-new 2023 Saudi Companies Law. In June, 2022 Saudi Arabia announced that it was enacting a Companies Law first proposed in August, 2020. Issued by both the Ministry of Commerce and the Capital Markets Authority, the new law takes effect in 2023. When the Ministry of Commerce and the Capital Market Authority announced a new draft Companies Law those who work in the corporate space eagerly awaited the new law. The new Companies Law streamlines corporate practice in the Kingdom. Company formation is easier and the creation of a simplified joint stock company increases access to Saudi capital markets. This translation grants English-speakers access to this law. Join the law firms in Riyadh, Jeddah and Saudi universitities that have all purchased copies, both for themselves and their clients. There is no similar book on the market today. Every lawyer, corporate start-up, consul- ting firm and company establishment service active in the Saudi market should keep a copy close by.
