This story starts in the year 2020. Where every animal and insect in this world have now started to become 'self-aware.' And within a mere three years, they also appear to have gained the ability to communicate, not only with each other, but also every other species on the planet, whether it’s insect or animal, and they appear to have all joined forces, with the sole intention of destroying the artificial world that Humanity have created for themselves. All oil exploration work in the Arctic Circle has been cancelled 'for the foreseeable future' due to the constant attacks twenty-four hours a day by the Polar bears.Even the normally placid penguins have been known to attack, and on occasion kill, any unfriendly human that have been stupid enough to set foot on the ice for whatever reason. Every major city in the world is slowly but surely grinding to a halt. They have no electricity, gas, sewage disposal or fresh drinking water. These cities are also completely overrun by millions of rats, mice, spiders, and all manner of strange looking creepy crawlies from all over the world, that have either escaped from private collections or have been rescued from zoos by F.T.W supporters. It is also becoming more and more commonplace to see giraffes, lions, gazelles, etc. wandering around the grounds of Buckingham palace. (The queen of England and her family have been evicted by the large numbers of creatures that have taken over Buckingham palace) she is now living on the streets, Homeless. It all started in the United Kingdom’s capital city of London, where police witnessed one unfortunate young woman being eaten alive from the inside by several rats that had gnawed their way into the young lady’s stomach, then working their way up through her body, feasting on her protein rich internal organs before exiting the now lifeless corpse through her shoulders. A top-secret meeting is now underway between the human representatives and a small party of Mountain Gorillas that have been chosen to represent the animals and insects, but unbeknown to humanity, every creature on the planet is listening intently to the proceedings. During this meeting Humanity finally realize that this is not just a battle for supremacy, it is in fact a battle for their very survival.

    Stuart Evans
Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present. Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...
