Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Linguistik, Note: 1,3, Freie Universität Berlin, Veranstaltung: Sprachfunktion (Neurolinguistik), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Studie 'What’s left if the Jabberwock gets the semantics?' von Jescheniak/Hahne beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, ob die syntaktische und semantische Verarbeitung im Gehirn interaktiv oder parallel und unabhängig abläuft. Dazu untersuchten sie Sätze mit syntaktischen und semantischen Manipulationen und überprüften ein von ihnen entworfenes zeitliches Modell. In dieser Arbeit sollen das von Hahne/Jescheniak verwendete Messfahren sowie die untersuchten Komponenten kurz erläutert werden. Dabei wird der heutige Stand der Forschung wiedergegeben. Im Abschnitt drei werden die Ausgangslage, die Methodik und die wichtigsten Ergebnisse und Implikationen der Studie wiedergegeben. Schließlich werden die Ergebnisse in der Schlussbetrachtung eingeordnet und die Studie kritisch gewürdigt.
