مجموعۀ حاضر، با هدف گسترش ارتباط ایرانیان و فارسی زبانان سراسر دنیا با اشعار خّیام آماده شده است. در این اثر، مجموعه رباعیات خیام گردآوری شده و به حضور شما خواننده گرامی تقدیم می شود. همان طور که پیش از این گفته شد، با توجه به ضبط نه چندان دقیق رباعیات خیام، در طی سده های مختلف، نمی توان به طور قطع تعداد رباعیات خیام را مشخص کرد و شاید بعضی از ابیات منسوب به خّیام، در دیوان شاعران دیگر هم دیده شود؛ اما امید است که مجموعۀ پیش رو که برگرفته از دیوان خّیام به تصحیح استاد محمّدعلی فروغی است، بتواند سرخوشی و خوش دلی خّیام را در زمان سرایش اشعار، به شما منتقل کند.
