Robyn Kirchner-Wolf wishes to thank all her family and friends who came into her life and believed and greatly inspired her. She treasures the little things in life; which mean to most. Through God and the Holy Spirit, she was captivated to write these beautiful poems from the heart to try and reach out to a very hurting world and proceed to help others; it’s a universal healing. 'I dedicate this book to my loved ones, especially my Mother, Vonnie L. Kirchner and my daughter, Alexandra E. Wolf and son, Robert A.Snyder in addition to all those who have touched my heart since I began writing at age 5. In so many ways, you all have lifted me out of very dark times in my life and gave to me great hope, love, courage, bravery and inspiration, to continue on my journey and mission in this lifetime. Thank you from the bottom of my gypsy heart and soul.'Robyn began writing and singing at age 5 - to follow her dream and vision to help others. This is her greatest passion. Through positive messages from her heart, she wishes to outreach to hurting souls in a very hurting world; it is a universal healing. As an entertainer for over 3 decades, Robyn toured, recorded and fronted 8 bands since 1977. In between working, she would be writing for her own personal healing. Several of her songs were shopped and recorded in Europe. One of her greatest achievements was playing at the White House Easter Egg Roll in 1989.One of her dreams came true when she met Mary Wilson of the Supremes in 1996 and they both remain dear friends to this very day - where Mary is a mentor to Robyn. She continues to write and hopes that this book touches and helps those who read her works, to give hope, love, happiness and comfort. I thank all those who have come into my life and believed in me, and gave me such joy in my heart.

    Jennifer Chrystie
‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. Figures who could so easily flit like phantoms in her well honed poetry are palpably enjoying an after-life in the poet’s ability to redeem through deep understanding. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

  • One Kiss
    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....

  • The Truth about A

In his interpretation of Antigone, Seamus Heaney says, ‘Nobody can be sure they are always right.’ Maureen O’Shaughnessy’s The Truth about A further attends to this idea through various readings of the myth as portrayed by Sophocles, Brecht, Ted Hughes, Anne Carson and, most particularly, Euripides.
