Данная диссертация была представлена с целью исследования элемента 'пространства', а точнее топоса в романе 'Доминиканский вечер: неолатинский роман' (2008) Рейналдо Сантоса Невеса. Цель состояла в том, чтобы проанализировать важность и актуальность места в этом литературном произведении в его различных формах, как соотнести отражение и значение пространственности в поведении персонажей и их последующую функцию в направлении повествования, восприятия читателем и конструирования пространства через семиозис, непроизвольная экстратекстуальная идентификация пространства Капишабы через картографию, репрезентированную в книге из эмпирического мира, вместе с присвоением классического пространства через интерфейс Сатирикона/Доминиканского ужина и символизм знаков, связанных с этим специфическим литературным пространством.
