'Daija Monique' is a story written to describe how the author felt the personality of a dear friend’s baby would be after she was born. This story is about a little girl named Daija Monique who was born into a family with parents who are educated and have good paying jobs; which enables their daughter to always have what she needs, when she needs it, and never want for anything. Her parents prayed for her from the start and taught her Christian values. Daija Monique grows up to learn that is not the case for every child in this world. She finds out that there are people in this world less fortunate than her family and it truly saddens her. She learned to put God first in her life and have love in her heart for everyone. Because of her big heart, she was always willing to share out of the abundance with which God had blessed her.Although 'Daija Monique' was written for children, it can be inspiring and enjoyable writing for any age. It is the author’s desire that this story will bring joy to every child’s heart and that it will make a change in this world in the way people of all ages see and treat each other.
