בעת שירותי נישאל אני אינספור שאלות כגון: 'היכן נמצא אלוהים?' או: 'הראה לי את אלוהים' או: 'איכה אֱפגוש את אלוהים?' אנשים שואלים שאלות כאלה מאחר ואינם יודעים כיצד לפגוש את אלוהים. אך הדרך לפגוש באלוהים הינה קלה יותר משאנו חושבים – נוכל לפגוש באלוהים פשוט בלימוד מצוותיו והציות להן. בכל אופן: למרות שאנשים רבים מכירים עובדה זו במחֲשבותיהם – ניבצר מהם לציית למצוות מאחר ואינם מבינים את המשמעות הרוחנית האמיתית המשובצת בכל מצווה אשר יצאה כתוצאה מאהבתו העמוקה של האב אלינו.בדיוק כשם שפלוני זקוק לחינוך הולם בכדי להיות מוכן לעמוד בפני החברה – כך אף: בן/בת אלוהים ניזקקים לחינוך הולם בכדי להיות מוכנים לעמוד בפני השמיים. כאן נכנסות מצוות אלוהים. על כל ילד חדש לאלוהים ללמוד את: מצוות אלוהים או עֲשרת הדיברות וּליישׂמן בחייו. תורת אלוהים הייה: המצוות שאלוהים ברא למעננו כדרך בה נוכל: להתקרב אליו, לקבל ממנו תשובות ולהיות עימו יחֲדיו. במילים אחרות: למידת תורת אלוהים הינה הכרטיס לפגוש באלוהים.בשנת 1446 לפנה'ס לערך בדיוק לאחר יציאת מצרים רצה אלוהים: להוביל את בני ישראל לארץ זבת חלב ודבש – הידועה בשם ארץ כנען. בכדי לממש זאת היה על בני ישראל להבין את רצון אלוהים ולדעת מהי המשמעות האמיתית בלהפוך לִילדיו האמיתיים של אלוהים. לכן חקק אלוהים באהבה על לוחות הברית: את עשרת הדיברות – המסכמות בתמציתיות את כל התורה (שמות פרק כ'ד: 12). לאחר מכן נתן את לוחות הברית למשה בכדי שיוכל לחנך את בני ישראל כיצד להגיע למקום אליו רוצה אלוהים שיגיעו – וזאת בִּכדי שילמדם בנוכחותו את מחוייבותם כילדי אלוהים. 3
