SynopsisBook 13+1 is a unique book written in its own genre, which does not resemble any other books I have read before. It may seem chaotic in the beginning, but as the reader advances, it becomes coherent and interconnected. The main challenge in writing a narrative arc for me is the inability to narrate this book. Having an advanced degree from a well-known and accredited university, I have been trained in different writing techniques, but I intentionally did not maintain any of them. The book has no characters, no story, and no single plot. This aspect makes 13+1 something very unusual. The book consists of 13 chapters and one (+1) short, philosophical story at the end. The main challenge in summarizing this book is that every chapter is a book on its own. One may think of it as 14 books condensed into one small book. So, in a way, it is a summary on its own. While writing this manuscript, the goal was to condense and immerse the reader in each specific chapter, discussing something unthinkable before, and at the same time, not linking the chapters so that each chapter could stand alone. 13+1 invites the reader to step aside from the normal daily routine and rethink and reconsider the most important values, beliefs, and logical deductions that have been taken for granted for centuries based solely on faith that they must be correct. 13+1 is an attempt to flip the coin and show the reader the other side of life and traditions, which many forget in this modern high-speed, high-technology life cycle. The book touches on many subjects that have been considered untouchable for centuries and have been taken for granted. 13+1 asks wild, eyebrow-raising questions and then gradually and methodically provides answers to them, explaining why these questions must be brought to existence and reconsidered. It brings up new concepts and metaphysical notions while questioning the old values and beliefs. This is the only book I know that will generate a wide range of emotional effects on readers. I presume the emotional impact from reading 13+1 will range from discussion and anger all the way up to admiration and followers. Rest assured, it will definitely give readers of the book something to contemplate and discuss chapter by chapter for a good while. I strongly believe that if presented to the right audience, 13+1 should generate a tremendous resonance in the advanced book readers’ community with a considerable ripple effect. According to my extensive research, nothing quite similar has ever been written before, and it will require some effort from the reader to stay closer to the logical side while pushing away emotions and feelings in order to reach the end of it and make an unbiased logical analysis of the chapters read.Respectfully,RP.

Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present.
