'Raphael Santi' is a detailed account of the life and work of the Renaissance master artist Raphael, written by Edward McCurdy and first published in 1917. Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino (1483 - 1520) was an Italian architect and painter during the High Renaissance. His work is famously characterised by a clarity of form, ease of composition, and visual achievement of the Neoplatonic ideal of human grandeur. Along with Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, he is part of the trio of great masters during that period.
