本期《人文中国》所收诸文，皆在纷杂处求诚恳、在沉重处见分寸。我们既关怀思想的纹理，也直面当下生硬的现实，愿为读者提供一种'可实践的清醒'，以人文的姿态来抵抗外界对精神空间的剥夺。'抵抗'这个词，在我们的语感里既不浪漫，也不激烈。它接近一种站姿：在流沙之上，脚趾用力，脊背不弯。人文的抵抗，就是这种站姿的一种--它不靠喊口号，而靠修辞与证据、史识与常识，才思和雅兴，靠在复杂处不仓促，在有争议的地方把句子写完。阅读优质文本不是'退回'，而是自我确认的前行：它让我们在被激情推动之前，先反身自照；在被立场吞没之前，先看清事实；在被数据包围之时，仍能为以血肉之躯获得的经验留出体面的位置。
