This book includes examples of the acutal petitions from the counties located in the Piedmont. Images are included to show examples of maps and drawings that were included with these petitions. Mill records and laws are also included. This book provides a great overview and insight to the over 20,000 petitions I have transcribed from the N.C. Archives.
