My Mom, The Magician is a charming tribute to hair stylists and the magic they create. In this story, we meet an imaginative little boy who is amazed by the transformations that take place in his mother’s hair salon. The young audience is asked to draw on their own experience of visiting a salon to get their hair cut in order to explain the techniques that hair stylists use on a variety of clients. They will develop their vocabulary, problem solving abilities and might even be inspired to become a hair stylist when they grow up.
