Ein Leben im Rollstuhl bringt zwangsläufig eine andere Sicht der Dinge. Mit ca. 1,20 m Scheitelhöhe hat man einfach eine andere Perspektive, schon aus rein optischen Gründen. Welches literarische Potenzial beispielsweise in dem schlichten Besuch eines Eiscafés stecken kann, das hat er schon in seinem ersten Buch, 'Wie ich das Laufen verlernte', gezeigt. Wer aber glaubt, damit ist alles gut, der kennt Rolling Robo nicht. Die Reha ist abgeschlossen, jetzt geht das gar nicht so normale Leben wieder los. Ob es ein Besuch beim Zahnarzt ist, oder Brötchen holen beim Bäcker - für ihn gerät alles zum Abenteuer. Dazwischen macht er sich so seine Gedanken über Falschparker, Besserwisser, Sex im Rollstuhl, Mobilität, Sport, was nicht nur Rollstuhlfahrern eben täglich so zustösst.
