In For Zacky, a grandmother recounts the tragedy of the death of a precious grandson drowning in a backyard swimming pool during his visit to a relative's home and the subsequent betrayal of him by police who failed to adequately investigate, and by those who were supposed to keep him safe. Grief is sometimes compounded by a lack of accountability on the part of investigators, parents, and caregivers. This is a cautionary story for all who care for children, and gives a voice to those who have experienced the death of a child.
