Cet ouvrage en présente la substance au travers d'une traduction commentée des articles clés de la loi introductive au Code civil allemand consacrés au sujet. L'auteur est docteur en droit et avocate au barreau de Paris. Elle est auteur d'une thèse sur 'L'évolution du droit des transports ferroviaires en Europe', parue en 2008 au sein de la Collection de la Bibliothèque du Centre de Droit Maritime et des Transports, aux Presses universitaires d'Aix-Marseille, d'un ouvrage bilingue sur 'La réserve de propriété de droit français et de droit allemand dans le contexte européen - Une contribution au droit international de l'insolvabilité'/'Der Eigentumsvorbehalt des deutschen und französischen Rechts im europäischen Kontext - Zugleich ein Beitrag zum internationalen Insolvenzrecht', paru en 2011 aux éditions Peter Lang, d'un livre sur 'L'essentiel du droit des transports', paru en 2012 aux éditions Lextenso-Gualino.
