DescriptionOn what I thought was my last admission to hospital during a writing activity I came up with the idea for a children’s story. I then wrote a series of stories to be suitable for children between the ages of 0 and 8 years. Giving that age bracket a simple but similar book to the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. However, in time I realised that the now compiled book of short stories could be the missing gap for the popular series of Harry Potter written by J K Rowling (reading age 8 - 15), and the J. R. R. Tolkien books mentioned above. For readers aged 15 and over. The main character is Bibby who is a bib. He has four best friends, Mr Kettle, Egg Cup, Toasty and Mr Mug. They all live in a small town called Small Town. Which by the way is only one of the main places in People Land, the other two popular parts are Big Town and the People Land Park. There are also other lands for example Magic Land. The book has thirty stories within and is illustrated. Ideally, this book is not a random story read for the first time reading.About J C BeswickThe author J C Beswick was born on 11th November 1978 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. He and his mother soon moved to Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. At the age of eleven diagnosed with dyslexia meaning there was a difficulty with reading and writing. As a result, a move from everyday schooling to a private school that specialised in helping dyslexics. After one year there was a move back into mainstream education. In an additional same period off to a boarding school which could also support his study difficulties. When seventeen diagnosed with mental health.

  • Um Boato Assentou Praça No Rossio
    Jorge Artur Dos Santos
Um boato ronda há século e meio o monumento erigido no centro do Rossio, em Lisboa. Conta-se que a estátua que encima a coluna para homenagear d. Pedro IV - o d. Pedro I brasileiro - representava originalmente Maximiliano da Áustria, fugaz imperador do México. Boato falso, porém resiliente, é ouvido ainda hoje ao pé do monumento. Este texto, resultado de pesquisa em arquivos e ...

Take a journey through 36 Years in Stone and San Diego with artist Doron Rosenthal. This monograph is a culmination of a life in stone, metal, and glass. It is as much about the process as it is about the work, and the need to create order out of chaos. When Doron was given three weeks to live, he didn’t buy it. Besides he wasn’t ready and there was much left to do.An artist’s ...
