Der Text befasst sich mit einem normativen, wenn auch wenig erforschten Bereich, der im Vertragsrecht, im Wettbewerbsrecht sowie im Bereich der zivilrechtlichen Haftung eine relevante praktische Dimension aufweist, nämlich der Normung. Wir werden daher die wichtigsten Aspekte der Normung in ihrem derzeitigen Stadium, ihre Ziele, die Arten von Normen, die Akteure und Akteure, die Probleme und ihre Entwicklung analysieren. In einer liberalisierten Wirtschaft zielt die Normung darauf ab, die gehandelten Produkte und Dienstleistungen kompatibel zu machen. Die Möglichkeit der Normung von Gesundheitsdienstleistungen hat insbesondere in den wirtschaftlich stärkeren europäischen Ländern heftige Proteste verschiedener Fachleute des Gesundheitswesens hervorgerufen.
