Die historische, politische und institutionelle Bedeutung, die der Peronismus in Mendoza seit seinem Erscheinen in unserer Provinz hat, ist unbestreitbar. Der Peronismus als politische Kraft, zusammen mit der Radikalen Bürgerunion und der Demokratischen Partei, sind die drei Parteigruppierungen, die in Zeiten des Funktionierens und der Achtung der verfassungsmäßigen Ordnung die Provinzszene in den letzten 60 Jahren dominiert haben. Über den Radikalismus und die Demokratische Partei, einschließlich ihrer Ursprünge und ihrer späteren Entwicklung, gibt es Werke verschiedener Autoren. Beim Peronismus ist dies jedoch nicht der Fall. Dieser Mangel an historischem Wissen rechtfertigt unserer Meinung nach die vorliegende Studie.
