The following text aims to represent the basic characteristics of Crowdfunding, as an alternative form of financing to the classic forms of money supply proposed by financial intermediaries. This journey inside the world of crowdfunding will take us to discover its history, its evolution over time and the success it is accumulating from year to year as a viable alternative for financing innovative or high social impact entrepreneurial projects. The book will analyze and describe the various types of Crowdfunding that exist, highlighting their strengths and limitations based on the category of user who intends to access them. There will also be a mention of the regulatory aspects related to the tool and some tips for starting an effective crowdfunding campaign. Finally, a successful use case will be presented, the one related to the start-up BIOerg, showing its goals and achievements, through the words of the protagonists of this extraordinary initiative.
